Building a ‘near space’ balloon

Discover some of the remarkable projects worked on at University of Suffolk’s Creative Computing Club.

Founding Higher Education Ambassador, University of Suffolk, uses its Innovation Hub to host courses on computer programming. With up to 60 participants at a time, The Creative Computing Club caters for all ages and abilities, from 8-18 year olds to interested parents. Recent projects have included a ‘near space’ balloon, currently taking pictures and collecting data, and a robotics course. Future projects include Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality.

“a wonderfully designed state-of-the-art area… immediately appealing.”

Matt Applegate, Creative Computing Club
